Alright, first of all, I apologize for not writing sooner. The name contest for my Night Guard ended at the end of April, and I have been working on choosing the name since then.
I have a winner for the contest. I researched about 200 names that were submitted. All the names from this website contest, and other sources were considered. The winning name that will be the name for my Night Guard came from a source outside this website. But, I will still reward the individual that was the runnerup, and that person/name came from this websites' contest. The name which was submitted that earned second place or runnerup is..."The Midnight Magic" night guard. The person that submitted that name is Kyleigh H.
Congratulations Kyleigh! You've won $100.00
Send me your address Kyleigh so I can send you a check...TMJSpainhower@gmail.com
The name submitted that won 1st place overall, will not be disclosed until the Trademark can be filed. I will reveal the name after that.
So, thank you to all that participated and even those of you who followed the contest. The guard will be going through a packaging process right away, but until then I will make the guard available (without the fancy packaging) to a few people until then.
I only have about 50 guards available right now. "First come first serve". I've decided to give those who submitted names for the contest first dibs on the available mouth guards as a Thank you for entering a name for the Night Guard. So, email soon before they are all gone.
So, for those of you who submitted names, you've won a FREE TMJ Night Guard! For those who submitted names it is not required of you, but if you would, please send me an attached picture of yourself with the following text copied to me at TMJSpainhower@gmail.com...
"I give Dr. Spainhower permission to use my picture and testimony for any marketing or promotional advertising for his TMJ Night Guard."
Then, if you could give me your testimonial or feedback after you wear the night guard, that would be greatly appreciated. The guard will be sent out to you as soon as the patent of the night guard is filed. That should be before the end of the month of May.
Now, those of you who are reading this and want a FREE TMJ Night Guard. It is required of you to send a picture of yourself with the above text in an email from you (copied again below) stating that I can use your picture and testimony.
"I give Dr. Spainhower permission to use my picture and testimony for any marketing or promotional advertising for his TMJ Night Guard."
Then please send me your testimonial/feedback after you wear the guard.
Thank you once again to everyone that submitted names, it was a huge benefit at selecting a good and appropriate name. But of course, it takes a good product to be successfull.
The guard I believe is/will be the best OTC TMJ NIght Guard available. Although, it is not perfect. I am one that does not want to promise everything to everyone, so let's go over a few realities of the guard...
First of all, please keep this in perspective...
The guard should be and I anticipate that it is the Best available TMJ Night Guard by far on the market outside of the Dental office.
1. It will not be perfect for everyone!
2. It will be the best overall guard to those persons that are up to about 5' 8'' tall.
3. That means that anyone up to about 5 foot 8 inches tall (give or take 1-2 inches) will greatly benefit from it.
4. I am working on a second design for those persons who require a Large size Night Guard.
5. This means Larger people and/or mouth breathers with high/large palates.
6. That does not mean that if you are 6 foot that it won't work for you.
7. It means that it might not work the best for you if you have popping and clicking in the jaws if you are 6 foot or taller.
8. But, it still can work for the Large size people for most other symptoms.
9. It is still the best overall for basically anyone in any size.
Thank you again, and I wish all the happiness and success to you in what ever you do.
