jaw clicking

by Nick

I understand my jaw clicking, which is about a month old following lengthy dental work, comes from the disc not moving with the ball joint. Can exercise improve this? What is the best and fastest way to address this. If not fixed will the cap deteriorate and cause other more serious problems.

Jaw clicking

Hello Nick,

If in fact your jaw has been clicking for only 1 month, then you have to ACT NOW.

You will always have clicking and dislocation of the disc if the disc has been slipping out of place for two months or more.

To do this, you need to wear a night guard asap. You will NOT have another opportunity to cure this situation.

Go the the store and buy a Doctors night guard And modify it as I describe in my "Truth About Mouth Guards" ebook. Wear that tonight to try to stop the clicking.

Then order the SmartGuard Elite. It is designed to reduce clicking and jaw locking. It just came a few days ago and is not on the website yet. Leave a message through paypal to have me send you the Elite.

Ok, now for reality...

Most likely you have had the disc slipping since you were a teenager and it has gone unnoticed. If that is the case, you will always have the slipping disc, and it is Not curable.

But, if it is Truly a new thing and has just started slipping and clicking, then you can stop it.

Email me at tmjspainhower at gmail dot com, and I'll help you through this.

If in fact, it is a new thing, then your bite will be off, and you will grind more. That grinding can cause a number of things. But, the priority is to try to stop the clicking now. So, wear a night guard at night and email me.

good luck, and act Now!
