Alteration of Dentek Custom Comfort nightguard

Hi! You mentioned in your analysis of different nightguards that Dentek Custom Comfort nightguard is worse than an older (?) model for TMJ sufferers unless you alter it as mentioned on your website. I couldn't find the info. I have one and am looking to customize it in the near future. Could you please help? Thanks!!

Hello Nora,

Thank you for asking.

The modification method is explained in the Truth About Mouth Guards ebook. There is a tab on the left side of this page called..Night guard ebook". Click on that and you'll be directed to the info you seek in the short 15 page ebook/report.

However, I don't believe it'll work as well as other models. I haven't tried it on the new Dentek model. It may work just fine, I just can't tell you for sure.

If you don't want to spend more $$ on the SmartGuard, the Doctor's night guard can work OK with the modification method.
