TMJ Pain Relief can be done a few different ways. You can most likely have immediate Pain relief for TMJ today.

Eliminating TMJ jaw pain today with immediate therapy, may not be the permanent answer to your jaw pain.

Because there are numerous ways and factors that cause TMJ pain, to rid your pain permanently requires a thourough examination done by a skilled TMJ Dentist, Doctor or Clinician with significant (years) of experience treating TMJ patients to identify the Real Causes, considering the wide spectrum of possibilities which cause TMJ symptoms.

If you've read the causes of TMJ and now understand many of the primary or true causes of TMJ syndrome, I can now start to prepare you to get TMJ Pain Relief today.

As I've said on other pages, most all TMJ jaw pain is "muscle pain". But it can be actual tissue damage or trauma in the temporomandibular joint.

In cases with damage, trauma, or just inflammation in the temporomandibular joint, you need reduced pressure on the joint tissues. In either case, what needs to be done for quick pain relief for TMJ, is for the muscles to relax and/or put less pressure on the joints.

Even if the TMJ symptoms are caused by medical problems such as a bad back, neck or shoulder, the jaw muscles or tissues in the temporomandibular joint need RELIEF, and relaxing the jaw muscles and relieving pressure on the TMJ joints is the quickest way to gain relief.

Again, it may not be the answer to keep pain away, but for immediate TMJ pain relief, that is the best way in my opinion.

Basically you need to calm the whole system down, to let it relax. The best way to do that is to wear a TMJ Appliance. That can be a TMJ splint by a TMJ Dentist or Doctor, or a home made mouth guard that you can buy in the stores. You can even purchase a $2.00 Football mouthguard and modifiy it as I explain in the Dental appliance link.

The self-made mouthguards are good temporary relief methods, but the professionally made, appropriatley adjusted Splint is more effective and predictable. But for quick relief at home the mouthguard is a good home remedy, and for Herbal Alternatives, click here.

Now, as I've mentioned before, massage of the jaw muscles by a trained Chiropractor, physical therapist, or other professional can give immediate TMJ Pain relief as well. And I am looking for my "Hand picked professionals" in your area that can treat you if you need their help.
