Don't chew gum, stop clenching, don't sleep on that side of your face that makes the jaw hurt, take a break from your kids, Change the scene, meaning, do something fun or different for day or two. Go on a trip, or over nighter, go camping to get out of the city and to the mountains.

SEEK A CHIROPRACTOR OR PHYSICAL THERAPIST THAT CAN MASSAGE THE JAW MUSCLES...

The patient can treat the symptoms with less expensive methods such as...TMJ exercises, Chiropratic massage of the jaw muscles, physical therapy, chewing soft foods, heat applications to the side of the face, and cessation of anything applicable causing the pain.

If the TMJ Home Remedy methods don't work like you want and if the pain is too much for you, for the most predictable reduction in pain, the splint is it. It just plain works!
