TMJ Diagnosis requires that many quesions are asked. Since not just a "bad bite" or a bad Dental Occlusion can cause TMJ jaw pain, the "Diagnoser" whether it is yourself or a professional performing an exam for TMJ issues, many different question need to be asked.

Now, it is only during and after TMJ Splint therapy can you accuratley DIAGNOSE the extent of a Bad Bite issue, and how it contrubutes to the TMJ symptoms.

So, exams can be done, but complete diagnosis sometimes is not complete until week by week TMJ Splint Therapy is done.
